Delete your data
Delete everything
- Sign in to Pit Crew and open Settings.
- Under Delete account, type your email address and confirm.
Pit Crew then deletes your account, every video, clip, thumbnail and transcript, the numbers it saved for your Reels, and your YouTube and Instagram connections, straight away, and tells Google to cancel Pit Crew's access to your YouTube account. Backups of the account database are deleted within 14 days. Clips already posted to YouTube or Instagram stay there: delete them in YouTube Studio or the Instagram app if you want them gone.
(If a video is being made or posted at that moment, Pit Crew asks you to wait until it's finished.)
Only disconnect Instagram or YouTube
- In Pit Crew's Settings, choose the account and Disconnect. Its access token is deleted straight away.
- Or remove Pit Crew from Instagram: Settings › Website permissions › Apps and websites. For YouTube, use your Google security settings.
- Removing Pit Crew in Instagram deletes its connection here straight away, with the list of that account's other Reels. If you also ask Meta to have Pit Crew delete your data, the records of your Reels and their saved numbers go too, and Meta shows you a code you can check on this page.
- For a YouTube channel, what Pit Crew kept from YouTube about it (its video IDs, name and picture) is then deleted within 7 days of disconnecting in Pit Crew, or within 14 days of removing access in Google's settings. Your clips stay in Pit Crew.
